Product Overview
PLA straws are used for cold beverages such as juices, soft drinks, smoothies, and iced coffee. They are made from 100% plant-based materials and designed as a compostable alternative to traditional plastic straws.

Material & Construction
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. It contains no petroleum-based plastics and no added toxins, making it suitable for food contact applications.

Performance in Use
PLA straws perform well with cold beverages and maintain their shape during normal use. They are not recommended for hot liquids or extended exposure to heat.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct heat and sunlight. Extended exposure to high temperatures may affect product performance.

End-of-Life & Disposal
PLA straws are industrially compostable. They require controlled composting conditions to break down properly and are not suitable for home composting unless facilities specifically support PLA.
